Synopsis
Kim Sun Kyung is a retired police officer and father of three sons, Gun Kang, Hyun Chal and Yi Sang.

Character Description
Eldest son Gun Kang made many wrong decisions in life, fails to accomplish what the family expects of him as the eldest son, ending up being divorced and going bankrupt. Gun Kang gets remarried to Chung Nan.
Second son Hyun Chal is the envy of the town and pride of his father. He runs a number of businesses which are quite successful and take responsibility for supporting the family. His wife Woo Mi often sacrificed her happiness for the benefit of the Kim family.
Last son Yi Sang, he follows in his father’s footsteps by becoming a police officer. Oftentimes the father and the son clash each other. As Yi Sang married Eo Young, the daughter of his father’s deadly foe, an ex-convict Sun Kyung traced and eventually arrested a long time ago.

Just watched that drama. Really like the story. I don’t really like korean drama usually. But when I see this one, I like it. Even it’s not famous here in my country. They prefer story like winter sonata. it’s a good one too. But three brothers ..The story is really touch every part in usual family life. Family issued. U know, it happen around us. A mother in law that act like that. Make their daughter in law as a slave. A mother that doesn’t give love equally and doesn’t like to be blamed. Doesn’t want to listen to their children feeling. A husband (2nd bro-i like the 2nd bro story) who doesn’t share his problem with his wife, and a wife that so tired taking care of her husband’s family, so that when her husband go home from work she always looks like bothers him. But actually she want her husband to listen to her. Because of so tired she can’t even care about her husband that he also has problem at work. They lost communication. YI sang’s part is like usuall korean love story. It’s romantic and he’s hot. So many to say about this drama… But two tumbs up for the story.. (From me that don’t really like korean drama).

three brothers !!!!!! like this drama very much … all b’coz of YISANG and EO YOUNG part … their sweet + romantic scene make me fallin in love with this drama …. but y the mother in law must act like that … arghhh so disturbing … hope yisang and eo young part will be more than other part and they continue with their sweet sweet relationship …. love LEE JOON HYUK & OH JI EUN so much ….
in the three brothers..the mother is not very fair to all his children and inlaw…she is very cruel eventhough she is not rich…she is also a lazy bump…i hate her…i hope she die…
IRIS is the best drama that i ever watched…my other favourites are full house and winter sonata….
every korean drama i watched i notice that the mother inlaw always so cruel to the daughter inlaw….they always treated as a maid. Why?? is it only in the drama or is it in real life they are like that???? scary to marry a korean
