The drama tells story about friendship, love, loyalty and patriotism.
Focused on a man named Shin Jung Tae, a fighter who has natural skills on fighting. He led and protected his fellowmen during Japanes invasion and finally earned his title as the greatest fighter during Japan Rule.

Character Description

Shin Jung Tae

Fierce and excellent fighter.
His mother died when he was so young and he takes the responsibility as the head of the family.

He became black-market dealer to save his younger sister’s life. Then he stands out as the strongest fighter without rival.
He will get into love triangle with Ok Ryun, who grew up like family and Gaya, who becomes an enemy.

Yoon Ok Ryun

She dreamed to be a singer. Later she met Soo Ok and finally became the famous singer in Shanghai. She grew up together with Jung Tae and Chung Ah.
Her heart is torn between her pure love for Jung Tae and Soo Ok’s love.

Jjang Ddol

Jung tae’s bestfriend.

Choi Po Soo

His real name is Choi Soo Ri.
The fellow of Jung Tae’s father and he was Jung Tae’s martial arts teacher.

Mal Sook

Mok Po Daek’s daughter and Ok Ryun’s bestfriend.
She falls in love with Jjang Ddol while working as singer in Shanghai.
