She tries to get income using her short Japanese language skill. She does tour-guide job with it.

He Ja dreams to be a poet. After joined a poet-fellowship, poem becomes a religion for her.

Restaurant manager, Hye Ja’s daughter

She’s pitiful and naive girl who graduated from local university with grade 4.0.

She previously being fired from a Hotel’s restaurant when she worked as a kitchen helper.  Then she luckily got a job as a restaurant manager in rich area Chungdam Dong, the places for the richest 1% of South Korean. This becomes her best working place as she dreams to marry a rich man.

She then meets Sang Yub, a rich man who seems to be her golden ticket to social climb.

But in her mind, another guy named Baek Soo bothered her. As although she works in high class restaurant, she likes ramyun more. She dreams to open her own-ramyun shop one day.

Always read cartoon in Chungdam Dong cartoon shop. He is jobless but sincere and attractive and dreams to be musician. Then he lands in Hye Ja’s boarding house.

Sang Yub

A rich born Chung Dam dong’s man. One of Chungdam Dong high class person. He can not stand a night without night-out appointment.  Whenever he lonely he calls Ji Eun
