@Rachel
agree with you, Han Hyo Joo is a better actress to play Young rae. But Han Hyo Joo’s name for me was too sticky with Dong Yi. It makes me difficult to see her play other saeguk roles without comparing it with Dong Yi.
Also, Han Hyo Joo definitely too old for Jaejoong.
Dongyi’s star, Han Hyo Joo would have been a better candidate for the role of Hong Young Rae than the overrated Park Min Young.
Han Hyo Joo’s striking appeal as a “kind and beautiful” person arouses the viewers’ immediate attention. That coupled with her dazzling smile would definitely heighten the chemistry between Song Seong Heun and herself, and ultimately improves the storyline of their bittersweet romance.
Park Min Young, on the other hand, is neither that beautiful nor appealing. More often than not, she portrays a “poker-faced” expression which diminishes rather than increases the viewers’ attention. Hence, I doubt that her heartbreaking romance with Song Seong Heon would tug at the heartstrings of the viewers and to earn them the “best drama couple” of the season…
After watching Rooftop Prince, I don’t think it’s great idea to watch a back to back time travel drama
so far i enjoyed this drama,and kim jae joong was impressed me
